Our Mission

Our mission is to positively impact the development of youth in our community by providing soccer and life-enriching opportunities to young players of all ages and playing abilities, to create a lifelong passion for the sport of soccer, and to help raise the level of soccer in our city, our state and our nation. We strive to play an active role in the leadership, development and personal growth of our players and staff by being an active member of our community through service, partnerships and programs. Our ultimate goal as a club is to encourage, inspire and empower each player and coach to be able to reach the highest level possible within the game and in life, while helping create leaders and individuals that will inspire others to do the same.

Real Fact

What many adults have forgotten from their own youth is that children of this age can only focus on a limited number of tasks at one time. It takes the full attention capacity of a U-6 player to control the ball because they are still developing basic balance, coordination and agility.

Health

ESSSA holds Maryland, Washington D.C and Virginia best soccer camps each summer. The program was created by former professional players who have achieved success at every level of the game and wish to pass that knowledge along to help develop the future stars of tomorrow. Have fun, make friends and improve your soccer skills in a competitive environment. Future Stars welcomes players and teams ages 5 to 16. Our soccer training camps are designed to improve each player’s technical ability while also improving their tactical awareness in a fun and competitive environment. Our staff is composed of professionals that have played soccer in Europe, South America, Africa and the United States, and collegiately in the United States, as well. They exemplify success, dedication and an excitement to develop youth soccer talent. Let proven professionals show you what it takes to become a soccer star!

Coach Amlak B

NuSoccer ideal for players who want to increase their skill and comfort level with the ball. With an emphasis on technical skill development, these sessions are great for all players. Sessions are run by professional players and trainers with competitive, technical skills training experience. Each week, players will get hundreds of touches on the ball as different skills are emphasized in a fast paced and FUN environment..

If your player is new to soccer, start with a recreational program for at least one season, either fall or spring. This will allow you to determine your player's interest in the sport, your family's ability to manage the scheduling and decide if recreation is the right level of competition. You can find more information on our website under Programs -> Recreational Soccer. From there locate the appropriate location and age group for your player to get more information. Instructor Kassahun Teka

A Comprehensive Training Program geared to each developmental level of play. A program that deals with all aspects of soccer development including preparations for student athletes to reach success at the high school level and ultimately, college soccer. A sport atmosphere that creates a sense of family, community, loyalty, and promotes a love for the game of soccer. An atmosphere that provides opportunities for players and their families to have a soccer experience that supersedes the playing field and includes interaction between the various teams through training, travel, and social events. Professional Training with a Professional Staff that addresses all areas of soccer training and development and challenges children to grow and mature as players and as individuals.

BE A FUTURE STAR!

Why take our word for it when you can find out from actual campers what makes Nusoccer Academy, one of the best soccer camps around? There are several reasons why kids love our camp: the staff, the training, the focus on the individual player and the culture of positive learning. The camp’s staff is composed entirely of former professional players all of who are currently coaching professionally. Each practice group trains directly with a professional coach. The camp is small (40-60 kids per week) and allows all the professional coaches to interact with the players. The camp offers a more intimate setting for children to learn, offering a high number of touches on the ball, new technique development as modeled by professionals, as well as a competitive game play environment. Finally, the camp and its staff make the experience fun, educational and instill a love for the game of soccer.

NuSoccer Sports offers a one-day a week kids soccer league that allows your child to develop a mastery of soccer fundamentals as well as build on their skills as they grow. The i9 Sports kids soccer curriculum includes drills and game play designed for all skill and age levels. As your children progress through our soccer programs, they will improve their understanding of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
